Urban Cinefile Critics Urban Cinefile Tod Harrison Williams directs with a sense of humour that never takes cheap shots but isn't overtly reverential to the author, and the playful tone helps make the film entertaining as well as offbeat. Nov 18, 2008 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Although I've long found Sean William Scott to be a funny actor, I must confess that my expectations for this film were low from the outset - and yet still, this film was EVEN WORSE than I'd dared to consider possible! It's weird without being cute & quirky &/or even remotely funny...in the end, I gave it an hour & that was more than sufficiently masochistic for my taste, before giving up on it altogether & switching it off! So, do yourself a favour & save yourself the hour-plus of torture that I experienced by avoiding this one altogether...the worst film that I've watched all year, & it's now September of 2024! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/15/24 Full Review adam b Didn't expect to enjoy this bizarre low-budget dark comedy. Sean William Scott usually never disappoints and this is one of the the examples Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member clever, funny, edgy, sexy. We're all losers and luckily it can be funny to watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Unwatchable! I never write reviews but this one I will make an exception on ! I made about 20 min in hoping it would get better . The people who gave this a good review are either blind or lying. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member I think Sean Williams Scott is hysterical, and I love Jeff Garlin from Curb Your Enthusiam, but this has to be one of the stupidest movies I've ever seen. I had to keep watching it cause I was praying for it to get better, but it never does. I have no idea why anyone liked this movie. Sad to see some great actors in what might not even qualify as a B movie. I don't know what kind of cameras they used to film it either, but even on my Sony UHD tv it looks like some low quality work done by college students. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Sean William Scott is amazing in this. Funny, vulnerable and believeable. while the movie has some bumps in the road, it's pretty damn good for a movie that was straight to dvd. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews
