Audience Member Essentially a stage production, this made-for-TV special starring Vincent Price, the eminent horror icon, showcases his recital of four EA Poe Stories including my favourtite, "The Cask of Amontillado." As one would expect, Price does a fantastic job in his delivery of the prose properly interjecting the comedic bits found within the originals. An absolute must for any Poe and/or Price fan. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Vincent Price gives it his all as he recites four of Poe's works. It's essentially just a filmed version of a one man show, but Price is electrifying as always and makes this compelling, despite its limitations. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Amazing writer + amazing actor = sucess Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member i kind of drifted out of this as it is really just a one man show of Vincent Price reciting Poe stories. It isn't very mesmerizing but there is a joy in watching Price tell the tales. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Though not the most intriguingly directed movies you'll ever see starring Price, this is definitely a fine tribute to his craft and extraordinary presence in film. Definitely essential for those such as I who love the great horror actor's oeuvre.
