Alain E @AlainE Nov 29 An interesting little BBC film based on real facts. Guy Burgess was one of the three Englishmen who spied for the USSR as double agents and escaped to Moscow to avoid capture. He indeed became friends with an actress from a visiting English company and convinced her to go to his personal tailor In London to get him some new clothes! The actual actress appears as herself in this production! The film preserves all the little details that made life under communism so enjoyable. The hotel rooms were all bugged, so if you complained loud about something missing, the friendly matron who was parked in the corridor outside would have it available next time you checked with her. Those were the days comrades! Try this at Hampton Inn. See more Read all reviews
