Genesis 1 03/23/2024 Well done cinematography....but I have to admit it's quite disappointing and disturbing in..the end of do I mean the beginning? See more 06/29/2014 (Sorry for my bad english) Maybe the only flaw of this short film was the unneeded deceleration of the escaping scene, where the shots were obviously too long and incentiveless. Anyways, the central idea of the entire story gets executed scarily in its plot twist, when the entire escape sequence is revealed to have been a dream or seeing a glimpse of his now latest lifetime that he experienced in the seconds before his physical death. Features beautiful b/w cinematography with a minimalist soundtrack of only a few lines of dialogue, instead focusing on the sounds of life. Has a real sucker punch ending that's both brilliant and devastating, and has influenced the twist endings of a couple major Hollywood films.
