Audience Member Not the best of the Hardy series, but pleasant pre-WWII fun; Garland sings "Alone" and "I'm Nobody's Baby." Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member It's classic Andy: he gets his comeuppance and then gets his happy ending. It's also a superb [jUDY] Garland turn. year s/b 1940 not 2001 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Andy Hardy (Mickey Rooney) gets in dutch again after boasting to his school chums of a romance with "number one debutante" Daphne Fowler (Diana Lewis). Once Judge Hardy goes to New York on a case, though, it's put up or shut up - with Andy learning another lesson of humility and respect. Still, Rooney's cartoonish acting style is a lot of fun - and Judy Garland adds extra sweetness (and a couple of songs) to the mix. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Really sweet and funny movie.. Another adventure for Andy Hardy and a really fun one... At least now he actually notices Betsy lol... I really enjoyed it! Great Family movie! Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland as wonderful as always! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member I remember seeing this film several years ago on TCM. I loved it. There is something wholesome about it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Oh, Andy. Judy does such a fabulous job of loving you that we really don't mind so much when you're clueless. Or when it's not really the best movie ever. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
