Audience Member ANGEL IN MY POCKET is purely inoffensive and has its fair share of funny moments. Still, despite the best efforts of Andy Griffith, it never feels like more than a sitcom stretched to feature length. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member A real film about real things in a comedic way. Not hillarious, not slapstic, NO profanity....just amusing humor presented in the same way as The Andy Griffith Show television series in the sixties. This time Andy is not a policeman. The late (as of last year) Andy Griffith is a minister with an unruly family at his side. It's full of little humorous bits. It will relax you as you forget yourself and get absorbed into this family film. Hence, the other two films were never made. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Reading others' Christmas reviews, I decided to review this wonderful homespun film co-starring former Miss America Lee Meriwether (Catwoman) as the Preacher's (Andy Griffith) wife and Jerry Van Dyke as her brother Bubba....definitely a "G" rated family classic.
