Cate G Are we forgetting this is a children's film? As an adult you may cringe and think this is a bad film but that doesn't take away from its amazing musical score, its fast pace and easy storyline. It's the perfect movie for children. For me, I had a good experience watching this movie, the songs They are contagious, the story is almost the same as the classic film, only in the present day, and also Quvenzhané Wallis is literally the best Annie of all, she brought charisma and the kindness that the character have,I love this movie so much, if it was showing in theaters today, I would watch it again. I remember it was inspirational to me and that I related to this newer version of Annie, not the old one. Yes, I watched the old one too. This one's better for younger generations. I think I have a more valid opinion than the older people's reviews because I was the target audience when this came out. I don't understand why the *adults* at the time are giving this *children's* movie a bad review. It's wholesome and I especially loved when Annie sang "Opportunity". When I was a kid I kept singing opportunity around my house because I loved it so much! Seriously, this movie was a core memory for me and it has a sweet place in my heart. The sour old people's reviews gotta go. Sorry, but the classic Annie aged out and isn't relatable to today's kids at all.
