      Audience Member Definitely paled way in comparison to other such movies like Taiyou no Uta. You don't feel for the characters at all; the way they met, dated and fell in love seems rather slip-shod. So, I stared impassively at the screen during the (many) crying scenes. LOL. Still I can believe if this movie was a hit in Japan; I think the Japanese are quite easily moved to tears as a people. Not saying that that's a bad thing--just an observation. There was this scene that was powerfully shot, I reckon. The father-in-law offering a cake to the male lead, probably knowing that it was the latter's birthday. Them making some light conversation and the father-in-law suddenly bursting into tears and emphatically stating, "Thank you! Thank you!" Definitivamente si uno les escribe, en poco tiempo agregan las películas. Bueno, ya hablando de esta cinta, me gustó mucho, basada en hechos reales, narra la historia de una pareja que aunque la mujer es diagnosticada con cancer terminal y solo le queda menos de un mes, su novio decide casarse con ella. Buen elenco, destacando a Nana Eikura, que es la novia, a Eita que es el novio, y Akira Emoto como el padre de la novia. Ciertos eventos de la conclusión pudieron manejarse diferente para agregar mayor impacto a la historia, pero aún así, la recomiendo mucho, y fijo figura entre las mejores cintas de Japón que he visto, donde usualmente el cine dramático japonés es muy lento y difuso en su conclusión, April Bride tiene buen ritmo y es sólida en su final.
