Audience Member A classic! A series of hilarious, well written and performed antics which are expressed in this film. I highly underrated gem in which people need to watch. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Will Hay, Graham Moffat and Moore Marriott are policemen in the village of Turnbottom Round. Unfortunately, they are in trouble for not having made any arrests for years, so they set out to try and find some criminals, while not realising there is some real crime going on right under their noses. Preposterous crazy comedy with the three stars all on top form. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member When the tide runs low in the smugglers cove--Classic comedy from a comic genius!! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member If you like Will Hay you'll already love this film, if not then it's probably a bit slow, although Albert and Harbottle are still in it, and watch for a fabulous scene with Charles Hawtrey's know-it-all schoolboy character Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member The brilliant Will Hay in a classic comedy with his usual duo of Moore Marriott and Graham Moffatt. Fun, quirky and definately one for the classic film collection. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Will Hay is one of those great British comedy actors who just doesn't travel well outside this little islands borders. This one, where he plays a policeman, is very funny, very fast, and has some great jokes. It's not his best film - that's still Oh, Mr Porter! - but this one is a minor gem all the same.
