bebe M it was SO cliche, but who doesn't love a cliche every once in a while. it was kinda goofy but some scenes were so predictable and unintentionally funny. there's this one scene that had me cracking up bc of how outta pocket it was. cameraman was not doing his job right, actors were mediocre, BUT WATCH IT ITS ACTUALLY NOT EVEN THAT BAD. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/07/24 Full Review The S Holy cow, this is literally the worst attempt at movie making I've ever fell victim to watching. It's one of those movies where everyone's friends and family bomb the Amazon reviews with 5 stars when it's not even a 1-star quality movie. It's embarrassing. On every level. And I get independent cinema (and support it wholeheartedly) but when you see one guys name in the credits over and over for like 8 different things on top of writing and directing, it's about ego, not about creating something good. This isn't Citizen Kane and you ain't Orsen Welles. Take a director's credit and leave it at that. Jeeesh. But back to this, If you can suffer through the first 15 minutes, it just gets worse from there. How about in the middle of the night during a break-in, the girl knocks a picture off the wall and it breaks, shattering the glass like 8 feet away from the homeowner and the dude doesn't even look to see what it is. Such an abysmal journey into a primer on how to NOT make a film. And honestly, I wouldn't have watched it had it not been for the fake Amazon reviews so there's lesson #2: when you game reviews, the people who get tricked into watching it are going to leave a REAL review over here. So yeah, enjoy someone offering up a free slice of the truth. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Another stupid movie with stupid characters who do stupid cliche horror movie things. The classic stupid being: When it’s time to escape from the killer, instead of running out the front door and making an escape, these morons run right past the front door and run up the stairs where there’s no escape! Didn’t take a PhD to know what was going to happen next. Yep, the killer caught up to them trapped in a bedroom, because they’re stupid freaking idiots! Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 10/22/23 Full Review Courtney K this movie is stupid. the acting isn't great, the dialog isn't much better, & they're hiding in this closet not even whispering... they should've been caught immediately. 30 minutes in & i gave up; nothing was happening. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/30/23 Full Review Chelsea T overly trite. acting isnt great. tension is a little too slow burning. the "struggles" are too easily escaped. decent little twist at the end.
