Jonathan Rosenbaum Chicago Reader This 2003 indie comedy by John Putch isn't very funny, but it's surprisingly likable for the sheer gusto and flamboyance of Putch, DeLuise, and costar Rodney Lee Conover. Jan 29, 2010 Full Review Jae-Ha Kim Jae-Ha Kim Ted Davis is the ultimate player. He's cute, but not too good-looking. He's charming without being overly smooth. As he notes early in "BachelorMan," Ted knows he's not God's gift to women, but is just optimistic enough to think they're God's gift to him. Rated: 3/4 Jul 27, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Didn't watch it all got so boring.. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Fairly decent comedy on relationships, especially if the the computer animation was removed. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Wasn't horrible. Had some cliche moments. Although I must say that when he finally pulls his head from his ass to tell her how he felt and she looked back at him and said she loved him it touched me. Made me want someone to tell me that right then. Guess I'm just too big of a sap though. I mean they got the guys as the cliche think with their dicks not caring about a serious relationship and the women play the sweet and caring clingy type. I miss my special someone. I want her to be clingy with me. I want her to want to spend that much time with me and take note of the little things like the chick in the movie did. Guess it hits home right now as I just miss that feeling of being wanted like that and feel a little lost without that special someone. It doesn't reinvent the wheel but uses what most of these types of movies do. There are worse movies out there. It's worth watching once in my opinion. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Men's anxiety to love & being loved. It had had its hilarious, punching moments. Shameful somehow neither the director nor the writers were able to manage a good control of comic rhythm, lining all the potential parts up properly. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member An obscure indie romantic comedy full of dating tips and nonsense. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Feels like 30 minutes of sharp, smart comedy stretched out to three times that length. It's the same problem that befalls most movies taken from sketch comedy (like the various "Saturday Night Live" films), except that when "BachelorMan" is on a roll, it's so fresh and funny it nearly makes up for the dull stretches.
