Perfect movie for a Halloween vibe See more Jason W Sep 1 Just Ok, the ending was terrible. I did watch 8 of the Blackwell Ghost films directly before this one, so I must take that into account. I enjoyed BG's Turner as a better "character", he was less angry, as well as the film visually. This was definitely lower budget which made it more real looking but a little comical at times, especially when Nigel got whooped then filmed himself in the bathroom. I really didn't like the text graphics on the cameras, they looked placed on, especially when they flash amd change colors, minor nit-picking? Yes, absolutely. It's not bad but its not good at the same time. The effects look real low budget. Especially the scene where Tom Riley was sleeping and the door opened and something started punching him. I 100% loved it. These kind of movies prove that you don't need a big budget to make awesome scary movies. This is definitely a scary movie you may not want the kids to watch, but also if your kids did see it, it wouldn't be that bad. No gore, no pointless nudity, just a good old fashioned haunting and jump scares. Nothing else.
