Andhika N Amazing movie 🔥🔥🔥 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/19/24 Full Review Karl K Omg so glad I watched this movie. No horror or thriller movie in recent memory had me biting my nails like Bad Genius. Incredible! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/29/24 Full Review Prabudhjeet A A masterclass of execution. Director Nattawut Poopiriya showed the intense culture of Asia when it comes to exams and how insane it is about getting good grades in Asian countries. Yes, its all about getting best grades in here and it does feels like we are in a HIEST while cheating in exams. The acting was just too perfect Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/22/24 Full Review 嘉荣 é Bad Genius is a thought-provoking film that reveals the injustice of education and the prevalence of cheating from a unique perspective. By telling the story of the heroines Xiao Lin and Bank, the film shows the different choices made by the two talented teenagers when facing poverty and temptation, and the impact of these choices on their life trajectories. First of all, the film provides a profound analysis of the shortcomings of the education system. Xiao Lin and Bank are both students with excellent academic performance, but due to different family backgrounds, their treatment in school is also very different. Bank is unable to obtain high-quality educational resources because of his poor family, while Xiaolin, although talented, cannot afford the tuition of an aristocratic school because of her poor family economic conditions. In this case, cheating becomes a plausible option that allows them to achieve better grades and a brighter future. However, this unfair behavior eventually led to the collapse of their lives. Secondly, the film reveals the complexity and contradictions of human nature. Xiao Lin and Bank are both extremely smart people, but they show different values when facing money and power. Xiaolin gradually gave up her moral bottom line for money, while Bank always adhered to his principles. In the climax of the film, Bank chooses to expose the cheating, while Xiaolin falls into deep regret and self-blame. This contrasting personality makes the audience wonder: What choices do people make when faced with temptations and dilemmas? Finally, the film conveys a profound social warning. Cheating is not just a problem in education; it is a widespread social problem. The film tells us through the story of Xiaolin and Bank that only by adhering to the moral bottom line and working hard can we achieve real success. At the same time, the film also calls on society to pay more attention to the issue of educational equity and provide fair competition opportunities for everyone with dreams. In short, "The Gunslinger" is a very successful movie. It has won the love of the audience with its compact plot, superb acting and profound themes. It not only reveals the prevalence of educational injustice and cheating, but also leads us to think about what true morality and justice are. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/04/24 Full Review Taylor R Nail biting suspense and twists throughout. Very exciting! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/15/22 Full Review Audience Member It was witty, thrilling and the camera movement made me as a viewer on edge of my seat at all time, pondering what would happen next. Although i didn't quite like the characters, the way they made the cheating scheme was really amazing coming from a high school student perspective. The piano method, the question set arc especially, I was always thinking how would they overcome the different question set and honestly was quite mad that she got caught because of a careless mistake. I would watch it again but not by myself as the thrill is already gone for me but i would watch it with a first time Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
