Mara Reinstein Us Weekly 12/28/2021
From Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo, the Oscar-nominated actresses and screenwriters who brought us Bridesmaids a decade ago, comes a goofy vibe-of-a-movie centering on two middle-aged culottes-lovin' gal pals. Go to Full Review

It's like spending 90 minutes inside a fever dream a Kristin Wiig '80s sketch character might have if she got high inside some kind of Mars Cheese Castle/Dylan's Candy Bar co-op. And I loved it. Go to Full Review

Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar is, like its name, highly silly. And silly is a mood that movies lately totally underuse. Go to Full Review

Told with an endless amount of charm and nonsensical silliness, Barb & Star couldn’t have been released at a better time of the year, and will be a fun and entertaining at-home watch. Go to Full Review
Tania Hussain popculture. 07/10/2024
Unapologetically sweet and candied with breezy comedic swings that land flawlessly, Barb & Star Go to Vista Del Mar is a bright and spirited, absurdist adventure that will have you finding your shimmer during this fun, laughable getaway. Go to Full Review

Depending on personal opinions and expectations of comedy, you may either find this to be a fantastically extravagant film or find it to be too over the top. Go to Full Review

Bradly P Mar 12 This movie is hot garbage. Not remotely funny. Painful to watch. Just totally sucks. See more Davida H Mar 1 I can never get enough of this movie, it gets funnier every time I watch it. If a movie could be comfort food then this is it for me. I'm in the middle of long term medical treatment and I swear it is the cure when things get too serious in my life. I start and stop it whenever I want and hear something different every time. Let yourself go into a simple story, I feel like this movie can distract people from their problems and make you laugh at the same time. It couldn't go to the theaters because of covid, but every time someone tells me they watched it after I recommend it makes me so happy that they loved it too. I hope they make a sequel, there's no end to what they could get into. See more THE NASHVILLE I @Nshvlleindie Jan 14 It's so bad and unfunny, it doesn't feel like a real movie at all. Some parts are fun, but the "jokes" are God awful. To be honest, they're so bad it's like they're not even jokes...it's insane dialogue that I think the writers thought were jokes, but it's just cringey. The first scene doesnt go with the movie at all. I thought Hulu made a mistake when this bomb plot kicked in...and then you realize that's going to be half of the whole movie. See more Nunya B Jan 6 I've never been compelled to create an account and write a review of any movie until now. This is horrendous. Excruciating. See more Jay Q 11/29/2024 The best part of the movie was Edgar's Prayer. See more Chaza C 09/15/2024 A silly entertaining movie that alternates between really bad to very clever jokes, gags, and production values. A great Saturday night movie that is perfect from the comfort of your couch. See more Read all reviews
