Sean Axmaker Stream on Demand ... maintains the high quality of previous direct-to-disc animated superhero features and it embraces the PG-13 with some gnarly violence and scenes of sexual activity. Apr 8, 2023 Full Review Dave Trumbore Collider While Batman: Assault on Arkham takes the opportunity to cast Batman villains in lead roles, it doesn't come close to exploring all the potential those characters offer. Rated: C Apr 9, 2019 Full Review Dan Seitz Uproxx In short, throw your money at this one; the team behind it cared enough to make it worth your time. Apr 9, 2019 Full Review Kofi Outlaw Screen Rant It's worth taking the dark, twisted ride. Rated: 4.5/5 Apr 9, 2019 Full Review Brian Costello Common Sense Media Cynical and violent superhero tale has some cursing. Rated: 2/5 Aug 7, 2018 Full Review Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed I enjoyed "Assault on Arkham" mainly because of its sleek and simple storytelling and ode to "The Dirty Dozen." Riley S. Assault on Arkham is loud, violent, and wildly entertaining basically what you’d expect when Task Force X gets dropped into Gotham and told not to screw up. The animation has style, the action hits hard, and the black ops tone makes this feel like the grimy little side mission Waller would totally greenlight behind Batman’s back. It’s a Suicide Squad movie in everything but name and honestly, it puts the 2016 live-action version to shame. Harley’s unhinged, Deadshot steals the show, and the Joker’s presence looms like a ticking time bomb (literally). Plus, the Arkham setting makes it feel like a lost chapter in the Rocksteady universe, complete with cameos and mayhem. It’s not perfect the plot’s a bit thin and Batman’s more of a guest star than the title implies but if you want a fast, bloody, darkly funny dive back into Arkham, this one delivers the goods. 🦇💣 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/21/25 Full Review Yuri B This was phenomenal, again DC is ahead of the curve when it comes to it's animated universe. Just wish they would have had the same success with it's cinematic one. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/18/25 Full Review Anderson O This should have been either Suicide Squad Movie. 10 years later, this tremendously holds up as the best suicide squad movie as well as a great Batman movie. But a great way to intro the suicide squad into animation through DCAU. Plot twist are exceptional and stakes elevate late to a suprise climatic end. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/04/24 Full Review matthias s "Batman: Assault on Arkham" is an action-packed and thrilling ride that will leave fans of the Caped Crusader satisfied. The film offers an exciting plot, impressive animation, and a stellar voice cast that brings the characters to life. While the focus is not solely on Batman, he still manages to steal the show with his iconic presence and heroic actions. As a huge fan of the Arkham games, i can't be more satisfied than as i am now. "Batman: Assault on Arkham" is a must-watch for fans of the Dark Knight and anyone who enjoys a well-executed animated action flick. It was just awesome animated film! and all the people who worked for this film tried their best and did hardwork and did an amazing job. So thanks a lot to them.
