A perfect anime movie, with all its resources, excesses, designs and style. The animation is simply AMAZING, the story not so much, pick something… anything to make a Batman movie made in Japan, it doesn't matter what, just do a Batman Japanese Movie… and here it is… as beauty as it can be.

Imagining Batman in a ninja setting was supposed to be something spectacular. Visually, it was, but his storyline felt rushed and didn't highlight that adaptive development of going from modern to old technology. In the end, I remembered those chapters of Power Rangers and it only contains one interesting fight to witness. I expected much more from this premise.

This movie was extra in every way. It never takes itself too seriously and makes for a riveting visual experience for Batman fans. An entire section in the middle is done in beautiful seemingly handpainted watercolour reminiscent of old Japanese paintings. Other than the amazing Grey DeLisle as Catwoman, the English voice dub is so-so, as was the dialogue. It ultimately did not hinder my experience and I had a wonderful time with this nonetheless.
