Logan D When animal styled villains and robots begin comitting crimes in Gotham, the Dark Knight and his allies confront them. Based on a toy line from Mattel I wasn't too hopeful but this turned out to be better than I thought. It skews younger so don't expect the quality of the 90s Batman series. It's lighthearted fun. My biggest issue was how sophisticated and clean Gotham was with it's futuristic overhaul. I like my Gotham dirty. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/24 Full Review steve d Nothing more than a toy commercial pretending to be a competent film. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Stephen C The greatest 1.2 hours ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/26/22 Full Review Jay F It's meant for kids. So in that light, it's fantastic. Even being an adult, you can have some fun watching this. The new design of Batman is pretty cool in my opinion. But Penguin has never been buff, Killer Croc has never had a metal mandible, and why does Green Arrow look like he would be the guitarist to a 2005 emo band? The plot is also pretty simple, but again, it's a kids movie. So the story shouldn't be focused on. However I will say some of the dialogue doesn't really make sense. Like Silverback calling Penguin a "Turncoat Traitor" when he runs away, but that's just being a coward. He's not joining Batman and company. Overall I'd say it's a pretty enjoyable experience for its intended audience, and an okay experience for people outside the demographic. Renee Schonfeld Common Sense Media Fierce animal robots threaten Gotham; peril, action violence Rated: 3/5 May 19, 2015 Full Review Mike McGranaghan Aisle Seat The emphasis is on creating a fun adventure that doesn't take itself too, too seriously, and on that count, the movie definitely succeeds.
