The heroes aren’t terribly heroic, nor are they crafted with much originality or enjoyable idiosyncrasies; they mostly appear as if leftover or rejected forms from old sci-fi television series episodes. Go to Full Review

Happy to distract the viewer with chase sequences and extended invasion showdowns, also using Danning's sex bomb appeal to keep attention away from the budgetary limitations. Why pay for explosions when there's spandex? Go to Full Review

David M Nov 5 costumes well bellow par, but nice to see some thought go into all the races making them different. main actors were mostly terrible, plot of many of the people who joined up was terrible, some thought done in some lines, some lines must have been made up by the actors and they were funny and a little out of the box. models of the MANY various space ships were fantastic, unique and detailed. the robots at the start were hillarious and great acting when u think about it, and her dad was scary to see that way in his ship. if this is in your gendre then enjoy as a sunday film by yourself. soundtrack sounded like it was from original star trek films. George Peppard (The A-Team) and Robert Vaughn (Man From U.N.C.L.E) bring the cool, charm and class, while Sybil Danning heaves her mighty bosom! Some future behind-the-camera stars got their big break too - James Horner (Titanic) scored the film, John Sayles (The Secret Of Roan Inish) wrote the script and James Cameron (The Terminator) worked his magic on the cheap and cheerful FX. It was Corman’s most expensive feature costing $2 million, but earned $11 million at the Box Office… I was 9 years old when this came out and I fondly remember seeing this many times, in the cinema as well as on TV… after 45 years it still retains its creaky, campy, naïve charm🤩 Mikey’s Rating: 3/5* or 5/5* (depending on alcohol level😅👌) See more Cees T Mar 10 Star Wars / Seven Samurai ripoff. Underdeveloped characters, unoriginal plot, tacky visual effects and no sense of joy at all See more Chuck M @spirit971 07/20/2024 I’m 40 minutes in and I don’t know how anybody made it through this ridiculous Star Wars knock off.
