Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews A tense kidnapping thriller. Audience Member I actually rather enjoyed this a bottle-thriller with fine performances and a convoluted plot that goes in many directions this will have you guessing til the end Melissa George sparkles as the mother fending to protect her son and discovers a plot that completely changes her views on everything Oded Fehr is awesome too with alot of charisma on his side some may not like that this film nevers leaves the room, I didnt mind it at all this is one of Melissa George's finer films Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/24 Full Review mara d I would have developed Stockholm syndrome. I love Oded Fehr. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Mellisa George is beautiful but has no soul in this movie, no expression, no feelings, nothing... And she is the only one with certain weight here... So don't waist your time Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Watchable but unremarkable with a plot that is perhaps better in essence than the actual execution if it. There's a face-palmingly bad countdown cliche which is milked to the last second involving money being transferred between bank accounts which really took me out of the movie for a time. You wouldn't go out of your way to see but it does manage to keep you watching despite the cliches and the single room set for most of the movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member First of all Melissa George is so beautiful, and a great actress. The movie was good, suspenseful and creepy, keeps you on the edge, acting was believable the plot was not your usual scenario and was a nice change of pace. Great movie to watch. As that being said for this being a good suspense movie for a low budget film, I give " The Betrayed " a C. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Thrilling but convoluted. Not great but interesting and complicated. Set is minimal. Cast is not exemplar. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
