Audience Member a documentary about paper folding that is poetic and beautiful and geeky in an awesome way. mindblown. everybody needs to watch this. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member A fascinating documentary that really brings the depth of the art to light. It also features an excellent showcase of some mind-blowing origami and the theories, concepts, techniques and inspirations of the folders who create the pieces. It's a must-see whether you're a fine-tuned, expert folder or you've never done anything more with paper than write on it. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member As far as story and the people interviewed this is an excellent doc no doubt. But there is some blase camera work with an overly pretentious narrator. I mostly found this to be a very clinical and at times a bothersome way to film art. I was also very confused about the letter boxing which could be why some of the shots seem odd. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Fascinating documentary. But the narrator (who I would assume is also the documentarian) has a pretty annoying delivery. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting concepts presented in a mundane manner with awkward narration. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Fascinating look at the artistic, theoretical, and even practical world of modern origami.
