A fearless photojournalist, Karen Rikehardt (Stepfanie Kramer), is snapping pictures of a drug sting when she's hit in the head and knocked cold. When she wakes up, Karen is told that one police officer was killed and another, Vince Morgan (Jack Scalia), bravely ferried her out of harm's way. Karen and Vince are soon an item, but, as their bond deepens, she comes to suspect that the veteran police officer is lying about his role in the raid and his links to known criminals.
