Audience Member Without a doubt the best film by the director. This unrelenting and honest glimpse into the bleak lives of the protagonists shines a light on some very real issues. This documentary is honest, despite the ending, which is falsified for dramatic effect. Great documentary, a must watch for fans of LV or Black Metal. Whatever you do, please stay away from this stuff called Opiates Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/26/18 Full Review Audience Member 3.7/5 The connection the documentary makes with Black Metal is, for the most part, entirely superficial, somewhat dissapointing considering that the conceptual conection between drugs and music couldve been Its biggest point of differentiation. However, the amateur production makes it into a documentary that, quite harshly, avoids the intention-filled aura of the common drug documentary, leaving the purely emotional experience at the forefront of what it conveys.
