Geoff Pevere Toronto Star It will go down like gangbusters with the tykes, but I couldn't wait to empathically navigate myself out of the theatre. Rated: 2/5 Dec 12, 2003 Full Review Rick Groen Globe and Mail A solid bundle of modest charm. Rated: 2.5/4 Dec 12, 2003 Full Review Barbara Shulgasser Common Sense Media Girl befriends empathetic reindeer in gentle holiday tale. Rated: 3/5 Apr 17, 2019 Full Review Scott Weinberg DVDTalk.com Blizzard is the "annual fruitcake" of kid's Christmas movies: sticky, ugly, and entirely confusing ... as in "Who thought I'd actually enjoy this fruitcake?" Rated: 2/5 Nov 19, 2005 Full Review Louis B. Hobson Jam! Movies An instant holiday classic overflowing with the true spirit of Christmas that will bring as much joy on subsequent holiday viewings as it does the first time around. Rated: 3.5/5 Dec 12, 2003 Full Review Jim Slotek Jam! Movies The Santa story seems lifeless. The child's drama wrapped around it, however, is sweet, involving and is much more authentic. Audience Member what a yawn. So much promise but the ridiculous North Pole story was beyond me. The editing was rubbish. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member I have to say that this one was surprising good and better than I expected with a nice storyline. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member My family and I lived this movie!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Could be cute at times but it also takes itself way too seriously. The characters can be a little "too good to be true" and Santa Claus is just to uptight and intimidating. He's not the jolly pot bellied man in the red suit we all now and love. Instead he comes across as Albus Dumbledore figure. It sorta clashes with the whimsical aspect that this film was trying to convey. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Cute just like anyother Christmas story. :-) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member A young figure skater named Katie who has trouble fitting in, is helped gaining confidence by her friendship with Santa's new reindeer Blizzard. The usual Christmas comedy with plenty of cliché, though it's nice to admire its innocence that make is a good viewing for the whole family.
