Audience Member Situational horror with plenty of cult value, and wouldn't look out of place as part of the Hammer series of films, of which it isn't one. There's a plausibility about the science and institution depicted, but neatly exaggerated for effect. Rated 0.5/5 Stars •  Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review bill t Although no real vampires to speak of, this little Universal Horror is immensely watchable just because of the plot, where a recently condemned doctor is shipped off to a jail for the criminally insane, just because the chief warden wants his help on his, "experiments" heh heh.. You know where this is heading don't you? This was a bit nasty, a bit messy, but still fun for the most part, it gets a little too stupid at the end ("Let go of my arm!") and the end is a bit pat, but oh well, this was a fun surprise.
