Matt Donato We Got This Covered The Rise Of Thadland heroically invests in throwing the party of the century, delivering unholy amounts of sex, drugs, more sex, more drugs, a Mojito hot tub, and sex while on drugs. Translation: this may not be for everyone. Rated: 7/10 Feb 4, 2016 Full Review Read all reviews

Nunya B Spike was stupid for canceling the TV show and they're show since then suck have done nothing but go down this movie is Awesome from beginning to end hilarious there's actually some titties in it for once cuz he couldn't put it on Spike the stupid Channel this movie is awesome I've watched it like five times and it cannot be recommended more Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/19/24 Full Review Kevin M I loved the show for what it was. It was raunchy, over the top, college guy fantasy humor but it was enjoyable because it stayed grounded in the themes of D1 football and the impending game that comes with it. Rise of Thadland however had none of that groundedness and instead just tries to constantly one up itself with ridiculous gimmicks before a cliched "fake your own death in an explosion" deus ex machina ending. I wouldn't go so far as to say that "things were just happening" as the plot was at least connected and flowed (hence two stars instead of one) but nevertheless this was not a good movie. Waste of 90 minutes, especially if you were a fan of the show. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/30/24 Full Review Anton A Absolute garbage. Does nothing after the first 10-20min to develop the characters after the TV series end. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/17/24 Full Review Audience Member loved it from start to finish Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member It's just another movie like American Pie. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member The show is good, but it doesn't transfer over well to being a movie. Just watch the show and skip the movie.
