If raping your ex-wife and laughing about it with her new boyfriend is your thing, have at it. Great writing, but it is so unbelievably misogynistic that it should come with comments regarding a new era of mankind's awareness about abuse.

Perfect pairing of actor and director - Segal is hilarious in one of the best performances of his career and Mazursky improves upon Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice. An underrated, fantastic comedy - this film should be discussed far more often as one of the true classics of the 1970s New Hollywood and it is a shame that Segal and Mazursky didn't work together again after this.

Blume is a disappointing film. It is about a divorcé who decides that his ex-wife is the love of his life. George Segal and Susan Anspach give terrible performances. The script is badly written. Paul Mazursky did a horrible job directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture.
