The porn director is a scary and intriguing character, bullying and exploiting the boys as he makes films which he says represent his "absolute self" and "philosophical vision" whilst performing autopsies at the local morgue as a day job. One of the more honest films about the impact of neoCapitalism on the former Soviet bloc; the use of Mozart and Albinoni on the soundtrack add a further visionary, spiritual dimension to a film which is ultimately about a certain contemporary soullessness.
