'Breaking the Silence: The Maria Soledad Case' is another documentary straight from Netflix's foreign documentary division. SYNOPSIS: 'In '90s Argentina, the murder of a high school student sparks widespread protests. Retold by her loved ones, this documentary shows their fight for justice.' Ticking all the boxes you'd expect from Netflix this film is assembled in a manner to honour the victim whilst looking to expose the deceit behind her murder. 'Breaking the Silence: The Maria Soledad Case', is a fine documentary entry that also wants to dig deeper into the José Luis Cabezas and María Marta García Belsunce cases. It maybe gets a bit distracted by the latter at times but that's down to the ambition of the director more than anything else. 6/10
