With acerbic wit and a mesmerizingly eccentric performance from Benedict Cumberbatch, Brexit energetically renders recent history with unflinching poise.

Darrel W If you need any more proof that the bourgeoisie are disconnected from the working classes, this pile of garbage is it. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/24 Full Review Audience Member A dramatic rendition of the surface consequences of political campaigns and the unseen effects of data analysis and the dangers they bring to the influence of the masses. This film entices a deeper interest in politics as well as the underlying effects at play. A mix of "The Social Network" and politics put into one movie, that eventually presents the dangerous consequence that underlying influences through personal online data can affect elections, beliefs, and an entire country. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review robbie v An enlightening depiction of the 2 Brexit campaigns. Surely the Russian influence deserved a mention. Scott Bryan BBC.com The insider elements going along through the campaign are what's really beneficial. You get insight on stuff you've not heard that much on Brexit. Jul 15, 2020 Full Review Lucy Mangan Guardian I'd especially like to know how Matthew Elliott feels about being portrayed as a borderline simpleton whenever Cummings heaves into view. Rated: 2/5 Mar 7, 2019 Full Review Sophie Gilbert The Atlantic That Graham has managed to make a functioning drama out of Brexit, let alone such a riveting one, feels a little bit miraculous. Feb 21, 2019 Full Review Tony Black Cultural Conversation The Uncivil War itself almost feels an uncivil story to tell right now in these troubled, uncertain times. It could be, therefore, the Brexit Movie Panto we all deserve. Rated: 3/5 Jan 31, 2021 Full Review Alex Moreland alexmoreland.co.uk Brexit: The Uncivil War is a film caught between two contrary instincts, unable to quite work out what it wants to be or what it wants to do. Rated: 5/10 Dec 6, 2019 Full Review Fernanda Solórzano Letras Libres Benedict Cumberbatch delivers a magnificent performance. [Full Review in Spanish] Aug 30, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews
