Without Kirsten Dunst or Solange Knowles, the story lacks heart, and the new cast, while energetic, feels flat and unengaging. The screenplay is predictable and uninspired, missing the witty banter and clever moments that made the original fun. Character development is minimal, and personal stakes are undercooked, leaving the plot hollow. Direction struggles too; cheerleading sequences feel underwhelming, with poor choreography and uneven pacing that drains energy from the film. Humor falls flat, often forced, and the movie fails to capture the playful, competitive spirit of earlier installments. Overall, In It to Win It is a forgettable, lackluster sequel that diminishes the franchise’s charm. It’s hard to recommend, even for diehard fans, as it offers little excitement, emotion, or entertainment. Yes, I am pretty impressed by this one. Each Bring it on film has its own good and bad. Many of it is very cheesy. This one too me was one of the more realistic cheer films. The end competitions was very similar to more All Stars Cheer.
