Michael Clark Epoch Times It’s impossible for anyone who is not a veteran to fully comprehend just how taxing living through wartime is, and that is ultimately Rademacher's mission here. This is a throbbing raw nerve of a movie that pulls no punches and contains no easy answers. Rated: 4/5 Mar 5, 2025 Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru Heartfelt, unflinching and illuminating. kat I reached out to the filmmaker on IG and told him what I thought of the movie. I’ve seen both of his movies and both are very poignant, but this one also has a very good section on the spouses and how they are affected by all this war and deployments and just military life. It takes a very special person to do that well and I told him I appreciated that segment of the movie. Overall, it is very well done as was the first. I wish more people would make documentaries like this about the military and Service life. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/17/25 Full Review Lori P Even if you dont have a veteran in your life this is a great movie to see. Non-political. Just honest thoughts from people who have been there. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/12/25 Full Review Facebook U It was more like a documentary but very interesting. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/05/25 Full Review Tom B Film following up with various service people and their families after an earlier film circa 2005. I highly recommend, especially if you or anyone you know has served. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/03/25 Full Review Ginger very emotional and lets you know what the entire family goes through during and after war Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/03/25 Full Review Peter Q Watching these men grapple with PTSD, depression, and loneliness is both harrowing and profoundly humanizing. I came across a blog written by the ex-wife of one of the guys in the film and it details more insight into the aftermath of war and the affect it has on everyone. It is profound. https://lisagrundy.wordpress.com/2025/06/04/holding-the-match-a-cliffhanger/ The raw emotional honesty in the movie is amazing.
