Audience Member My main reason for watching this was that I hadn't seen a Faroese film. Very nice pictures from the islands the story of two estranged girls who return to the Faroes in search of lost family is pretty plain. The girls outfits are so 90's it's ridiculous and alone worth watching this film for. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Wanna see where I am from? Well, check out this movie. One of the few movies I know that has been shot in the Faroe Islands. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member a "Hardcore" Road move with a B-Movie Budget, recommend it to hardcore fans of Nordic Road movies Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member For some reason I feel like "this is so 90's." And that's never really a good thing. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I had seen this film years ago in a small cinema somewhere in Germany, and I recently ordered the DVD from Norway because I wanted to see it again. I personally love this film; but I hesitate to recommend it to anybody who is not interested in Nordic cultures or the Faroe Islands in particular. Anyway, Katrin Omarsdóttir is the only decent director the Faroe Islands have, and "Bye Bye Blue Bird" is her best film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Færøysk høres utrolig rart ut... høres ut som om noen prater tullenorsk. Men filmen er merkelig... handlingen er litt kjedelig... men det er to freske jenter. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews
