Unlike the Hollywood version of the intrepid traveler - Caine is just an american expat traveler looking to make a buck. You might fall a sleep in the middle but you'll wake up and watch it again later. keywords; expats, booze, foreign locals, a bit of romance and of course sharks - not to mention a chain smoking 8 yr old. Predates JAWS but gained little notoriety and certainly not one of Burt Reynolds most memorable performances. Film was dedicated to the work of the stuntmen, one of whom died during the shooting in a dive with sharks.
