Robert G @RT49520675 May 15 The first 3 cannibal girls are dead sexy, but I'm not dying to have sex with them. I question their taste in men. The girls have low standards & go for low hanging fruit. They don't believe in aging their meat, but eat some of their victims alive & pumping adrenaline. The men fall for the anything might be foreplay gag. The movie also goes for the brunette, blonde, redhead, aka chocolate, vanilla, & strawberry trope used so often as for the 3 brides of Dracula & the 3 Witches of Eastwick. The quality of the film stock is amazingly high for a B-movie horror comedy. Ten years later in the 80s apparently no one cared how grainy films were which really shows in HD. Only the main couple is stranded by the car trouble trope, other victims seem to have been just passing through. The then contemporary setting is now a period piece screaming 1973, including the lack of breast implants. Not much distracting product placement. The framing of scenes is adequate & the camera work is good. I guess in the same way the fearless vampire killers are a parody. This film does lean into the cliches, and does have elements familiar to horror but not a parody. It has a tongue and check sense diaoulgeat times very few times on the noise its a comedy if scream is comedy no this commentary on the genre I guess, Directed by Ivan Rietmann well directed just labelled wrong. See more 10/19/2020 It's corny, goofy and super low-rent, but there's a certain 70s Canadian charm to it, that makes it a good bit of fun. Funny seeing such a young Eugene Levy and Andrea Martin playing it fairly straight.
