Walter V. Addiego San Francisco Chronicle What we get is the filmic equivalent of a smiley face. But enthusiasm and sincerity don't make the hard questions go away. Rated: 2/4 Mar 10, 2011 Full Review Marjorie Baumgarten Austin Chronicle The film's hectic pace and flow has more in common with design of a kids' educational TV show, and although the information seems sometimes chaotic. it is always lively, thought-provoking, and inspirational. Rated: 2.5/5 Feb 25, 2011 Full Review Gary Goldstein Los Angeles Times "Carbon Nation" is an inspiring look at the many recent advances in clean energy and green technologies. Rated: 4/5 Feb 17, 2011 Full Review Brent Simon Shared Darkness Thought-provoking on a macro level in some of its interviews, but its sloppy construction, poor focus and rah-rah boosterism make for a sludgy viewing experience. Rated: C- Mar 4, 2011 Full Review Kam Williams TheLoop21.com A sobering documentary which makes a convincing case that climate change is a national security issue. Rated: 4/4 Feb 11, 2011 Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru Mildly captivating albeit one-sided and over-simplified. It merely presents a reader's digest overview of climate change solutions [that's] more overwhelming than inspirational. Rated: 5.9821/10 Feb 11, 2011 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Absolutely a must see! Would be great to have continuous updates to this documentary on the current status of many of the solutions proposed in the movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member A swing and a miss. Not only does this movie fail to suggest more specific measures to combat climate change, it fails to mention the numerous political and cultural obstacles to implementing any environmental reform. If you watch the news enough, you won't learn much from this movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Optimistic take on global warming and what can be done to counter it. No ground breaking revelations, but inspirational nonetheless. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Good overview of issues and options. Over optimistic as the positioning against climate change continues this movie does skips talking about the funding put into countering climate change. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member After watching this great documentary I'm very optimistic that we can save our planet before we reach a point of no return. Let's just hope that the powers that be see it the same way. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member I just watched this film and I have to say I am really taken back by all the awesome technology and brilliant people that are working on this stuff. Even if I don't really believe in so called "global warming" I do believe we should move towards making these sorts of changes which will only make the world a better place for everyone. I still say that its mostly a natural change and that the world is doing what it has done since the big bang created this whole crazy thing and that science brings us closer to understanding what is happening everyday. But working towards the sort of goals that this film shows us is a great thing and one we shouldn't dismiss for the profits of corporations who don't care about people only money.
