Arias Munoz transforms the story into a sweeping modern Western where generational conflict, mineral rights, environmental tension, family legacy, and cultural identity collide beneath the breathtaking beauty of the Sierra Nevadas. Go to Full Review

Gritty and mildly suspenseful with nice scenery, but it's often by-the-numbers and contrived. Go to Full Review

Jamie H May 2 Didn’t realize it was the continuation of a limited series that aired on Freevee but it had little bearing on the storyline as we got all the details we need to follow along. Now I want to see how it all began so I’ll go watch the series. See more Ron M May 4 Same played out plot we’ve seen a million times. Also, the overly dramatic last words of the dying patriarch fell really, really flat. See more Jennifer D @Jendewhirst May 4 A great movie- a little bit romance, drama, and on the edge of your seat what’s gonna happen next!! Tells a story that you know could be true. Amazing acting from the cast!! Would love to see a continuation of the story in a series!! See more Laurie C @LaurieCS May 3 This is my favorite film of the year. I was grateful to see it on the big screen because it was a great way to experience the natural landscapes of this movie. The visual images were simply stunning and the storytelling layered. Because of the beautiful framing of the landscaping, you could feel the land as an active character in the film which made the experience of watching the movie all the more engaging. Additionally, the cast was phenomenal; and they all carried their characters from the small screen to the big screen in a compelling way. Within the genre of thriller/suspense/drama, there were new layers of storytelling and re-framing of old tropes and assumptions. This movie is an example of how powerful filmmaking can be as a storytelling experience and as a way to engage with our cultural conversations. All the thumbs up for the Director and his team. Go see this movie now!! See more Liberty W @liberty May 3 Poignant story, excellent acting, and beautiful scenery. See more John D @johnducey May 1 Perfectly soapy in that Yellowstone way. Fun performances and beautiful people. See more Read all reviews
