A poignant feature film about loss, forgiveness, and hope in America's heartland, CASH FOR GOLD tells the story of Grace (Deborah Puette), an Army widow hiding a dark secret. Fighting to support herself and her young son (Sawyer Gacka) while clinging to her recent sobriety -- and with Christmas fast approaching -- she takes a job at the local pawn shop owned by the town's only Muslim family. She initially butts heads with the owner's son Hasan (Farshad Farahat), a man with a secret of his own. As their relationship deepens, forces within their tiny community propel them toward one dangerous, explosive night. Will they each face the mistakes of their past... or be destroyed by them forever.

An emotionally charged, beautifully crafted film. The filmmakers’ attention to detail shines through every scene, and the cast’s chemistry is excellent. The story of redemption and forgiveness is universal yet deeply personal. I felt like I knew these characters. A must-see.

This film truly left a lasting impact on me. Grace’s journey felt incredibly real, and the way it delved into forgiveness struck a deep chord. Every scene carried so much weight, both visually and emotionally, and the performances were breathtaking—every expression and line felt raw and genuine. This is one of those films that lingers in your mind long after the credits roll.

I’m really confused on the 100% rating. It was a nice movie, heart felt and had a lot truth to it, but it was slow, predictable and lacking a major climax for me.

I always appreciate a real, simple and unique story - and this was all three. The emotions in this film were raw and authentic. Most people know or have met a Grace, someone struggling, trying their hardest, and unable to forgive themself. It tackles important topics in a thoughtful way. Beautifully written and acted, this is a must see!
