For all its technical prowess, this is an anemic, nonsensical horror opus that seldom goes anywhere of interest, everything building to a terribly unsatisfying conclusion that's forgettable and bland.

A demon baby, witches, an evil tree, sack-headed lynchmen, and gross ass centipedes. Oy! It wasn't AWFUL, I mean, I did get through the whole thing - somehow. But it's not good, that's for sure.

A whole film extrapolated from someone's sketch-book doodle of centipedes and cherries. The premise was ridiculous and things went steadily downhill from there.
