Audience Member An obvious dark humor. Espeicially the final taglines about what the ending of the story has taught us. That was bullshit, apparently. The message should be: This is just the exact ending with the rubbish hierachy of the CCP. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member A movie that is banned by the Chinese authority for a long period of time. Talking about the practice of chained corruption which may be very common in the Mainland. This movie made Alan Tam became the Best Actor in Taiwan, although the decision may be part of a political judgement. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member If I Were for Real is truly an moving film about a true story that took place in Shanghai. A man became faked official's son to take bribes from fawning underlings. Eventually he was caught. Alam Tam won the Golden Steed (Or Horse) Award for this movie. The movie is so politically provoding, it was banned in Hong Kong and 100% in Mainland China. It was written by three imprisoned Shanghai writers.
