So predictable and I guess lazy using an old formula to make a Christmas movie. Age difference between the two love interests stood out especially as they were meant to be at school together! They were trying to make it seem like the characters had Dutch roots while getting every Dutch thing wrong. The mill was called something that was supposed to mean 'gentle breeze' in Dutch but the name wasn't even a Dutch word, like how hard is it to use google translate? The story was boring and was way too long. There was none of the whimsical feeling you normally get from a christmas movie. See more Tiago G 12/07/2024 This one of the most senseless Christmas movies I’ve ever seen - and I don’t really expect a lot of quality or sense of a Christmas movie. I found the lead actress’s performance to be particularly uninspiring, she seems to be as emotionally invested in the plot as the chunks of wood you see in the background. The plot in itself makes no sense most of the time, and the ending is cringe and nonsensical - even by Christmas movie standards See more 12/02/2024 Unfortunately it’s so senseless that it seems it was not 1,5-hour long, but 3 hours at least.
