Finally alone for the holidays, Luther (Tim Allen) and Nora Krank (Jamie Lee Curtis) plan to eschew the Christmas traditions and take a cruise in the Caribbean instead. This doesn't sit well with their Christmas-obsessed neighbors Vic Frohmeyer (Dan Aykroyd) and Walt Scheel (M. this movie is a classic. one of my favorite christmas movies. I don't understand how people can hate it so much. I do however, understand why people think it goes in circles. I couldn't imagine skipping christmas.

I honestly will always feel like Tim Allen is my TV dad, I've watched so many reruns of Tool Time. This was a great witty change of pace from the regular Christmas movies.

Bizarrely creepy and obviously unfunny, 'Christmas with the Kranks' is an incredibly disjointed and uncomfortable movie with an absolutely toxic and disgusting message of conformity and caving into peer pressure without taking into account what it is that you want (although the Kranks turn out to be wildly unlikeable characters that only gain sympathy in the first place because you automatically put yourself in their place because (again) they are such forgettable, blank slates in the first place).
