Finally alone for the holidays, Luther (Tim Allen) and Nora Krank (Jamie Lee Curtis) plan to eschew the Christmas traditions and take a cruise in the Caribbean instead. This doesn't sit well with their Christmas-obsessed neighbors Vic Frohmeyer (Dan Aykroyd) and Walt Scheel (M. Emmet Walsh), who are determined to win the annual "best decorated street" competition, and the Kranks soon find themselves social outcasts because of their lack of Christmas spirit.

**Christmas with the Kranks** Finally got around to watching *Christmas with the Kranks*, and honestly, I had a blast. With an incredible cast featuring Jamie Lee Curtis and Dan Aykroyd (who I always love), it’s hard not to enjoy. Plus, with Chris Columbus behind the script, you know it’s going to be at least decent, and it definitely delivers on the fun. Sure, the plot is silly, goofy, and absolutely unrealistic—skipping Christmas? Feuding with neighbors over decorations?—but that’s the charm. It’s hilarious at times and kept me smiling throughout. I’ll admit, I wasn’t as into the second storyline about the daughter coming home. The first half, with the Kranks rebelling against Christmas traditions, was way more entertaining. Still, it’s an enjoyable movie, and I totally get why it’s considered a holiday classic. Perfect if you’re in the mood for some lighthearted laughs and festive chaos. 3.5 stars!

I love Christmas movies and I watch this one almost every Christmas. But, it's really stupid. Tim Allen's eating scene after his face Botox treatment is cringe worthy. The entire movie is cringe worthy. So why do I still watch this moronic holiday movie every year? I don't know.

A-list stars in an F list movie. A complete town hell bent on guilt tripping a couple who are looking to skip Christmas. Heaven forbid someone doesn't celebrate Christmas or spend money on trees and other stuff.
