La historia presenta a Alberto como alguien que trata de adaptarse a su nueva vida con Massimo. No es nada sencillo lo que Alberto tiene que pasar y su relación con Massimo empieza como algo entre un mentor y un aprendiz. A pesar de las dificultades y de que Alberto no parezca ser capaz de adaptarse a su nuevo entorno, se puede descubrir que Massimo no pierde del todo la confianza y más bien desarrolla un vínculo paternal con Alberto. Esta historia podría quizás haber funcionado mejor como largometraje o mediometraje como mínimo. El cortometraje puede llegar a sentirse como una secuela innecesaria o limitada, pero la historia que cuenta tiene el alma de Luca y eso hace de Ciao Alberto algo interesante de ver. This is a solid short film that makes good use of its time and showcases more bright and colorful imagery like the film that inspired it. I think it works because it honestly adds a lot of layers to two characters in just a few minutes and works as a good epilogue to the story.
