With his best friend Luca away at school, Alberto is enjoying his new life in Portorosso working alongside Massimo--the imposing, tattooed, one-armed fisherman of few words--who's quite possibly the coolest human in the entire world as far as Alberto is concerned. He wants more than anything to impress his mentor, but it's easier said than done.

Shaked G A cute story about alberto and julia's dad. Cute like the movie luka. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/04/23 Full Review Moth Don't watch this if you have daddy issues worst mistake I ever made. I'll never recover. I love these two and their funny mustache cat so dearly Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/10/22 Full Review Audience Member Good short to be honest Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member A cute addition to Pixar's already delightful Luca, Ciao Alberto is a funny, lovingly animated short film that also has that requisite amount of heart as the bond between Alberto and Massimo increases, though I feel the climax was a bit redundant of things the movie already made clear without spelling it out for us. But maybe that's just me being nitpicky. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review yash b "Ciao Alberto" is a cute and sweet addition to this year's "Luca." This is a solid short film that makes good use of its time and showcases more bright and colorful imagery like the film that inspired it. I think it works because it honestly adds a lot of layers to two characters in just a few minutes and works as a good epilogue to the story. Overall, it is simple and sweet and makes effective use of its very short runtime. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
