Laurie S It's just a very silly premise that is so unrealistic it's untrue. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Stiffy (*cough*, his acting, I mean) Antonio Sabato Jr. in this formulaic TV-film back in the 1990s. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review a.l.jude p Much much better than action movies made after 2000. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member WHAT A STUPID MOVIE. I AM NOT ALL THAT FAMILIAR WITH ANTONIO SABATO JR, BUT HE SUCKS AS AN ACTOR. HE MAY LOOK MIGHTY FINE BUT HE CAN'T ACT. DUMB STORY, NOTHING OF INTEREST HERE. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Brian Singer, why hast thou forsaken us? Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Directed by David Jackson Written by Frederick Forsyth & Robert T. Megginson Genre: Thriller MPAA: Rated R for violence Runtime: 91 minutes Plot Summary: Harry Gordini is on his way to Italy for a holiday with his family. He accidentally picks up the wrong suitcase, which holds hundreds of millions worth of a new superdrug. Now the drugdealers want the drugs back and kidnap Harry's wife and son. But Harry isn't just anyone, he's an ex-Navy SEAL and veteran of the Gulf war, code named "Wolverine." - IMDB Wolverine is a 2000 video release of a film, Code Name: Wolverine, which was originally made-for-tv in 1996. Pretty strange stuff. Anyway, Wolverine is an extreme B-movie; essentially a WWE Monday Night Raw storyline spread out over a feature film. Antonio Sabato, and many of his enemies, enjoy running around with no shirts...only Speedos. Just another connection to wrestling. Sabato must have some sort of fanbase, for he comes out with a new crappy movie each year or so. I imagine this is much like his other ones - like an episode of VIP, only with the reversed intention to ogle over Antonio Sabato. If you like Wolverine, you might also like... - Ransom (Ron Howard, 1996) - When a rich man's son is kidnapped, he cooperates with the police at first but then tries a unique tactic against the criminals. - IMDB - Leon: The Professional (Luc Besson, 1994) - Professional assassin Leon reluctantly takes care of 12-year-old Mathilda, a neighbor whose parents are killed, and teaches her his trade. - IMDB Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
