Audience Member Really good one here highly recommend it, James Welch, Henderson, Arkansas July 21, 2023 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/22/23 Full Review Ernie K Excellent western with a compelling story line. Joel McCrea is quite believable as the lead character who's a conflicted bad guy with a heart, and Dorothy Malone and Virginia Mayo are formidable co-stars. Superior fare with a story that could just as well fit into a Noir film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/06/23 Full Review ashley h Colorado Territory is an amazing film. It is about outlaw Wes McQueen escapes jail to pull a railroad robbery in the Colorado Territory. Joel McCrea and Virginia Mayo give excellent performances. The script is well written. Raoul Walsh did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the drama. Colorado Territory is a must see. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Director Raoul Walsh does a western remake of his earlier film "High Sierra" with Joel McCrea in the Mad Dog Roy Earl role, recently released from prison and sucked back into a life of crime. Virginia Mayo and Dorothy Malone also appear in the film. It's a solid, if not classic, western that will entertain fans of the genre. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member September 2013: This film is packed with people conspiring against each other. No one can be trusted. A wild west Bonnie and Clyde. If you're a western fan this old black and white will likely quench your thirst. There is a hanging scene near the end of the movie that must've been a bit controversial in it's day. Caught me off guard and seemed harsh even today. The Indian speak will likely make you laugh. Ouch.
