It’s easy to like the villains in a Ranown western. But in "Comanche Station," you don’t just like them; you feel sorry for them. Go to Full Review

nick s @Nick_S 11/11/2023 The story was quite straightforward and didn't reach any great heights. But the production quality was great... solid acting, nice pacing, competent camera work, great stunts. With a sensible runtime for the storyline it is well worth seeing. See more ashley h @ashleyhobgood87 12/05/2021 Comanche Station is a decent film. It is about a man who saves a woman who had been kidnapped by Comanches. Randolph Scott and Nancy Gates give good performances. The script is a little slow in places. Budd Boetticher did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the drama. A lot of aimless wandering, physically and plot-wise. Her husband has offered a large reward that attracts three drifters to their company. Another stripped-down western from the Ranown cycle. This film is all about the various character's choices, with the wrong ones punished severely. The beauty of it is you can see which decisions are coming, good or bad, and fully understand why they were made. See more Read all reviews
