Critics Consensus

A sequel as unnecessary as it is belated, Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles lacks virtually all of the easygoing humor and charm that delighted fans of the original.

alan g Even worse than 2. Was there no other trash in hokeywood? Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/08/24 Full Review Jelisije J Glad the original cast returned, but their is absolutely no relevant story in this wasted sequel. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Not great but same fun characters Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/11/22 Full Review Audience Member Fun and easy going family movie to enjoy. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review robert p Again, Hollywood makes a so so sequel!! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The story: Dundee and Kozlowski have been together and have had a son, though they didn't marry (this is pointed out in the movie). Then Kozlowski is contacted by her newspaper publisher father to go to Los Angeles to work there, and the others come along. Once there, Dundee is a fish out of water again-which is much less credible after 13 years of having lived with a native New Yorker. Rehash many of the jokes from the prior movies, add a thin plot of their getting involved with a movie studio which is involved in drug smuggling, and there you have it. Overlong, slow, and dull. Even if the original charmed you, this movie will not. Don't expect a "Crocodile Dundee Four"; Paul Hogan was age 62 when he made this one!
