Rountree and Banks have come up with a nonsensical and pointless genre exercise, a film built on a couple of wool-over-the-eyes plot twists - one of which is spelled out repeatedly in case anyone misses it the first time. Go to Full Review

Forrest M @RT32281296 17h "Cut!" is a horror movie that tells the story of an ex-con and a filmmaker trying to tell a narrative by filming randomly selected people in a series of events. While it may not be your typical horror film, it is definitely a deeper film that one would expect from its genre. It presents themes on human behavior such as: men acting through their senses alone to their detriment as they act illogically and unreasonably; the power of perception instituted by reckless men thinking that they have absolute control of the universe(existentialism) which is absolutely false; and the power of the media that could instill true or false narratives to level that people have been under its spell (media subjugation). Finally, it also presents truth to what Edward Bernays once stated, "human behavior is malleable" which has become the foundation of propaganda, advertising and marketing where the truth has become optional. It is worth watching with its many interesting themes on human behavior!!! See more 07/03/2016 While he isn't always successful, Rountree tries his hardest to bring some new elements to the table here, and the result, though choppy at times, still manages to be entertaining more often than not. It's not a great film, but it's certainly not a boring film either. See more 10/07/2015 Officially the worst movie I've ever seen and that's saying something. See more 05/25/2015 I thought this sounded really good but it left a lot to be desired. See more 03/14/2015 Barely watchable, 'surprise twist' near the end isn't really much of a surprise, doesn't do much to save the really dull plot & lame characters. See more Read all reviews
