Dark Money does an impressive job of tackling a complicated subject in easily understandable -- and, for many viewers, utterly enraging -- terms.

"Dark Money" exposes the dangers of unbridled, anonymous political spending so expertly that it will make you fume with anger, practically quake with distress. Go to Full Review

The film's basic problem is that it jumps around too much... Still, Reed and her team have boiled down their presentation to a manageable 99 minutes that's fascinating, absorbing, and mind-altering. Go to Full Review

Matthew R Jun 10 Most of us know that our governement is corrupt and we are really being run by corporations but to see it laid out so obviously is very demoralizing and sad. See more Per S May 11 Dark Money is an important display of how corrupt US politics really is. Access to funding talks no louder than in the nation fundamented on capitalism and industrial power, and political corruption is pivotal in this system. A documentary like a million I've seen before. I'm almost always a fan of documentaries but this one just didn't do it for me. I found some interesting information from this and it did open my eyes to an unfortunate way some things work in politics. This is really one of those films with a very limited target audience (though to be fair most documentaries are lol). I'd definitely be interested to hear anyone else's opinion on this one.
