Audience Member A cliche filled disaster. Nice ''Swamp Thing'' costume, though. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Darkwalker is the story of Hobb's Grove, the infamous area in small town Sanger, California where one of the largest Haunted amusement park is held. The local owners have sank all of their money into it, through construction, landscaping, and the hiring of a giant group of cliched "teenagers" (the good girl, rich bitch, goth chick, token black, stoner, and nice guy). Ignoring the warnings of the cliched old, wise man, teens and other people start getting picked off one by one by a mysterious monster that rises from the farmland to exact revenge on those who desecrate it. As each death occurs, the owner couple work with the police to keep the deaths secret, so you KNOW they'll suffer an inevitable comeuppance. Standard creature slasher fare that defines low budget filmmaking to a tee, thanks to atrocious acting, shot on video camerawork, and silly special effects (though the film spares no expense in dumping buckets of blood everywhere. If one is able to wrap their minds around such a low budget, slightly amateurish attempt at a horror film, you may actually enjoy this film, as it isn't all THAT bad, especially when compared to director Danny Draven's other work (Horrorvision, Cryptz, and the awful Deathbed). The film's BIGGEST claim to fame is the small appearance from twin girls Lamb and Lynx Gaebe, as well as their mother April, who play the doomed Hobb family at the film's opening. Still doesn't ring a bell? Well, these three are part of the Prussian Blue propaganda, a disgusting piece of shit stain on America that uses pop music and literature to spread evil, racist bigotry and hatred towards different ethnicities. Don't worry though, the filmmakers didn't know about this at the time and since then, these pieces of shit have pretty much been blacklisted by Hollywood. Overall, ultra low budget Darkwalker manages to be mildly entertaining. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
