Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/24 Full Review Joshua Shane O A fun campy holiday romp with your favorite couples of Salem, although not everyone may be with the person you think or remember! A stand alone movie of a beloved show. While giving us a few soapy moments most of this is a tongue in cheek commentary on the hallmark Christmas movie and their cliches. Sit back and escape.., Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/14/22 Full Review Audience Member I loved this fun spin-off! Full of camp, freshness, and somehow nostalgic moments that are straight from a Hallmark Christmas movie! I am so delighted that Days is the first soap opera to experiment in this new bold direction with Beyond Salem and this Very Salem Christmas special! I truly wish the mother ship show could get some of this budget back for decorations and extras. I know it was a small touch but loved seeing the icicles on the windows of the Brady Pub! This had all my favorites in an alternative timeline if you will that allowed for some unexpected twists and humorous moments.
